About the Role

This position is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in all aspects of the legal counsel work in Baltic General Legal team by being active and supportive legal partner for People and Culture, IT, Treasury, Finance, Compliance, Operational Risk, Communication and other functions within Luminor Bank.

Key responsibilities:

  • Actively advise and support People and Culture function;
  • Provide legal expertise in IT related purchases and services;
  • Develop expertise in outsourcing arrangements area;
  • Review and prepare service level agreements, purchase and other contracts;
  • Support in corporate governance of the bank and subsidiaries including legal processes related to establishment of the companies, mergers, liquidation etc.;
  • Ensure efficiency in the tasks, aiming for the beneficial solutions to Luminor Group;
  • Actively participate in Baltic General Legal team life, sharing of knowledge and experience, exploring synergies and providing timely deliveries.

We expect from You:

  • Master degree in Law (or in progress);
  • 2-4 years of experience working as a Legal Counsel supporting business in general legal matters;
  • Strong communication skills to successfully interact both with business stakeholders and within a Pan-Baltic team;
  • Self-motivation, able to work independently, follow deadlines and being good at multi-tasking;
  • High degree of professional ethics and integrity with strong sense of responsibility and commitment to results;
  • Full working proficiency of English (written and verbal)

 A salary range for this position from 2400 EUR (Gross), which is to be determined depending on the level of experience and competencies of the selected candidate.
