Brief role description

The focus will be on 2 main development streams:

  • Implementation of modern digital banking platform;
  • Consolidation and modernization (complete rework) of legacy IT portfolio.

This role will focus on implementation of modern Infrastructure Security Services for new Luminor IT portfolio.

The role is hybrid of EA/SA/Analyst with elements of Project Management. Approx. time dedication (total 100%) to different roles (might change according to demand):

  • Enterprise Architecture - up to 10%;
  • Project Management – up to 10%;
  • Solution Architecture – up to 60%;
  • Analytical Services – up to 20%.


The main assignment responsibilities:

  • Provide top level IT Security Architecture and Analytics services for IT and Information Security value chains;
  • Pioneer and Pilot new Information and IT Security solutions and controls;
  • Develop functional and non-functional IT security requirements;
  • Perform Analysis of effectiveness of Information and IT Security controls;
  • Perform Risk Analysis and Management activities;
  • Provide Cybersecurity Incident Management and Support activities;
  • Have fun on a job, but only in a way it will help you be more professional, persistent and goal oriented.

Basically, we will have to build IT Security portfolio for Luminor, starting from security solutions for endpoints, security event management and monitoring and everything else we will find important!

Required experience

Medium/Advanced practical experience at least in several of the following or similar roles:

  • IT Security Architect/Engineer;
  • Cloud Infrastructure Architect/Engineer;
  • Linux/Unix platform Architect/Engineer;
  • Windows platform Architect/Engineer;
  • Network Architect/Engineer;
  • Endpoints Architect/Engineer;
  • Databases/Data Architect/Engineer.

Practical experience or at least good understanding of one or more of the following or similar security controls/areas:

  • Cloud Services Security;
  • Application Security;
  • Database Security;
  • Network Security;
  • Endpoint Security;
  • Data Security;
  • Security Event Management and Monitoring;
  • Service Continuity planning.

Scripting skills for data mining and task automation in one of the following languages:

  • PowerShell;
  • Python;
  • Perl;
  • JavaScript;
  • SQL;
  • Linux/Windows shell.

Experience with following technology is considered as huge advantage:

  • O365/Azure information and cybersecurity (MDM/MAM/WIP/DRM/IRM/eDiscovery, etc.)
  • AWS Security and related Services
  • Cloud Access Security Brokers and Cloud App Security (Microsoft MCAS, Bitglass, SkyHigh, etc.)
  • Any MDM technology (for ex. Intune, etc.);
  • Docker (or other container technology);
  • Kubernetes (or other container automation and deployment technology);
  • Elastic Search;
  • NoSQL (MongoDB, etc.);
  • ELK stack, SIEM Arcsight, SIEM Qradar, Logstash, etc.
